WAL about empathy

We were learning about empathy by reading the book "Stand in my shoes". It helped us to understand how we can show empathy to others here at school, at home and everywhere we go. 

Swimming

We are participating in Community Swimming lessons. Our coaches are fantastic and the students are already making good progress, learning new skills and swimming for longer distances. Great work everyone. 

Learner dispositions - Resourceful

We were learning about being resourceful. First we read a book together. It is called "Rosie Revere Engineer". Then we had time to create our own items using pipe cleaners. It was exciting and tricky at the same time. 

We are bucket fillers

We have been learning about how we can fill someone's bucket. Being kind, helpful, friendly, etc. are examples of how we can achieve this.
