How does water cycle around the earth?
How does water cycle around the earth? form
We are investigating if water is and essential resource for life and on our journey we were learning about the water cycle. Here are a few examples of one of the activities that we have completed.

We are learning to solve mathematical problems
This week we were learning to solve problems in different ways. Were looking at solving these problems about buying food and drink for Max's birthday party.
Keegan solved the first problem like this:
The second one is the best choice. You get more drinks for the same price.
Keegan solved the second problem like this:
He said that for every $2 he can get five apples. Four two dollars give you the $8 so 4 groups of 5 will give you 20 apples.
Keegan solved the first problem like this:
- 4X6 = 24 and costs $20
- 25 drinks costs $20
The second one is the best choice. You get more drinks for the same price.
Keegan solved the second problem like this:
He said that for every $2 he can get five apples. Four two dollars give you the $8 so 4 groups of 5 will give you 20 apples.
Great thinking and explaining, Keegan!

Exploring space online
We were finding information on Mercury and Earth going online. We used the website called NASASpacePlace. We had to read the information and then choose where we could add the information on our sheets. We were also learning how to write our information using bullet points.
To complete the activities, we had to use the learner dispositions:
- reflective (thinking about the information so we could add it to the correct area on our sheets)
- resilient (toughing it out because it took a long time and some of the words tripped us up)
- reciprocal (we worked in groups)
- resourceful (we had to make decisions about how we would go about finding the information, using the information and how to solve problems).
