It is important to understand the words we read. We have been focusing on different types of words this term by learning new words, their meanings, compound words, synonyms,  antonyms, onomatopoeia as well as using the words in sentences and in our daily speaking and writing.

Have you filled a bucket today?

Last week we were reading about how we all have invisible buckets. Only other people can fill your buckets. They fill it by being kind to you. A smile can fill a bucket too. 

Bucket dipping happens when people are mean. You empty your own bucket when you are mean to others.

We are now creating picture buckets to show how our buckets can be filled.
