Apple Art

We created these beautiful apple pictures in the following way. You can try it too. Here is how we did it.
  • sketch the apples (look carefully at the shape and practise until you can do it well)
  • make a template of your best one
  • cut three identical apples from coloured card
  • glue the apples onto a white sheet of paper
  • add the stalk
  • add shading with a sketching pencil

Some of our thoughts:
My picture looks good because the shapes look real. It was tricky and hard to draw the apple. I’ve learnt how to make a good apple.
Hugo

My picture looks good because we had to do a dip at the top and the bottom and because I had never drawn an apple. I’ve learnt that it is not easy and that I need to sketch before I draw.

My picture looks like apples on the table. They are tidy and nice. I put the yellow at the back because I like yellow. It was tricky to make because it was hard to get the shape right but then it looked so, so, so, so, so good. I’ve learnt that you can look at something instead of just doing it.
